My best picture that I took in Savannah

My second favorite picture that I took is of a tree with peat moss on it. Most the trees in Savannah have moss on it.

I really enjoyed walking through the cemetery orginial the cemetery consisted of three blocks but now there is only one block left they built house on one block and a fire station on the other. The bodies were not moved, there were a lot of head stones left over that they did not know what to do with, so they mounted them on a brick wall.

Savannah

On July 15, 2009 Susan, Stephanie and me drove up to Phila. Spent the nite for our trip to Savannah Ga. along with us was Fran t. lee and 6 girls and there parents. The train ride was something that I had never would have expected, besides being the longest ride I had ever taken a tree falling on the track which delayed our trip by 2 n 1/2 hours, the trains temperature being like the Antartic the bathroom stinking worse than any outhouse. I just was very gratefuly I brought two blankets with me (for what reason I don't no). Ok instead of arriving at 9 pm we arrived at the hotel at 1:10 am we boarded the train at 7:39 am.

When we arrived in Savannah everyone just wanted to go to bed. We had to get early in the morning to go to Tybee Island Marine Science Center the beach was there would put you in mind of Wildwoods beach, but I found it very odd there was not one seagull.

Next we went to Captain Mikes Dolphin Cruise then I understood why there was no seagulls on the beach they were all next to the boats hoping for a free meal. the dolphins were waiting around the boats for any through outs the fisherman were tossing overboard.

Next we were suppose to go to Fort Pulaski Federal Park, but it was so hot we skipped it.

When we got back to the hotel we took a quick shower, Fran T. Lee, went in the pool Stephanie Susan Ruthie (friend from Phila. we now lives in Flordia came up to visit) Savannah is a old town with great buildings we went to the River which is below sea level walking up the steps to get onto the street was something else.
